In partnership with ‘Buckley Bees’, Bentley installed a colony of 120,000 indigenous honey bees five years ago as part of the British marque’s #GOTOZERO sustainable strategy.
This is one of the many initiatives undertaken to enhance and improve the local environment as part of Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy. It builds on the company’s outstanding successes in 2022, with a record honey harvest of an estimated 1,000 jars from 600,000 bees.
In recognition of this year’s World Bee Day, the extraordinary ‘Bentley Bees’ colony is being expanded to house over one million bees with the installation of seven new hives.
The Bentley Bees will continue to help to pollinate the on-site flora and bring wider benefits to the surrounding Cheshire countryside.
